“I hate running out of time.”

“How do I get more done in the morning?”

“There’s never enough hours in the day!”

Today, we’re talking about several useful apps, online sources, and programs that will help you to become more productive, motivated and also, help you stay on task throughout your morning.

Trello

“Trello’s boards, lists, and cards enable you to organize and prioritize your projects in a fun, flexible, and rewarding way,” as the company states on its website.

Trello is a program you can use to create organizational lists, boards and templates to remind yourself of the tasks you need to complete.

Click here to check out Trello.

By clicking on the plus sign in the upper right corner, you can create a new board, template, a team and even a business team.

It’s a useful program to use if you have a team, or a group of people, where everyone can see the new activity, lists and boards.

I use Trello to list new ideas on one board, tasks being completed and in progress on another, and then tasks that are longterm on the next board. The options are endless, though, as you’ll see when you log in.

Save time in the morning using Trello by never forgetting your tasks or misplacing your to-do list or calendar again!

eCounseling.com

This is for my friends who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or self-esteem problems.

Check out this article if you are looking for a positive way to start your day:

44 Positive Affirmations for Depression to Inspire Change

“Vocalizing certain phrases about yourself can provide a much-needed lift and motivate you toward positive change.” That’s an excerpt from the article from eCounseling.com. You will want to bookmark this, for sure!

The article, written by MS Broudy Ph.D, talks about what positive affirmations are, how they can help you in your daily life, and also, an amazing list for you to use!

Here are a few from the list:

1) I have come this far and I am proud of myself.

2) This moment in my life does not define who I am.

3) My challenges bring me better opportunities.

4) My life has value and meaning.

5) These are just thoughts. Only I determine the way I choose to feel.

6) I choose to release negative feelings and thoughts about myself.

7) I will try to see the best in others.

8) I believe in who I am.

9) I am working toward making a better life.

10) I do not need to rely on others’ judgment for acceptance.

As you will read in the article, you will need to make sure to choose your affirmations wisely to suit your needs, and the author will help you do just that.

I’d say, that will definitely help you to achieve your goals more easily on a daily basis, as well as on a large scale. Enjoy!

ThinkUp App

The ThinkUp App is one of my favorite apps ever.

It’s an app where you can record yourself saying key phrases, affirmations, or basically anything you want, and you can play it back over a bed of music of your choosing.

This app is perfect for you as well if you are a health coach and you want to create meditations for your clients that they can easily download.

The app gives you reminders to listen to your daily affirmations, and you can create or join in challenges for yourself to complete.

The reason this is so effective is because you can start your morning by getting yourself into the right state of mind.

You can set the tone of your day by listening to your positive recordings, and studies have shown that by listening to uplifting messages and affirmations, you may be decreasing health-deteriorating stress. (Click here to read more about the studies performed.)

Starting off your day by listening to your affirmations can help remind you of your goals for the day ahead, and if you want, you can even check out other recordings to listen to that are already created inside the app.

The experts who created ThinkUp recommend that you focus on no more than 15 affirmations at once, although I know I have done more!

You can play a variety of affirmations from top experts inside the app, and it’s included when you get started.

Tips for recording an affirmation, according to experts:

  • Use present tense

  • Make it specific

  • Use action

It’s important to note, this app does have a free plan and a paid one.

On the free plan, you get to record three affirmations at up to 15 seconds in length; on the paid one, you get unlimited recordings, and there is no time limit!

I highly recommend this app for anyone who needs to meet a goal…it’s amazing how many times your brain needs a swift “kick” to get yourself back on track throughout the day!

BONUS TOOL: Any On-Demand Workout App (here are two examples)

Using an on-demand workout app has been a HUGE time-saver for me in my daily life.

First, what is an on-demand workout app?

It’s an app or an online service from which you can stream video workouts.

You can travel anywhere and be anywhere, and do the workout right where you are.

This saves time because:

  • You don’t have to spend time driving to the gym or destination

  • Minimal time getting ready

  • less time of “talking yourself out of” working out (in my opinion!)

  • no fuss with checking in at the gym, etc.

I’m a certified Les Mills BODYPUMP and BODYCOMBAT instructor, so I have access to a lot of workouts on my devices; however, you can also sign up for Les Mills On-Demand, and get your workouts, too!

Sign up for Les Mills On-Demand, HERE. You can even start off with the 2-week free trial!

Another really amazing on-demand workout app I used to use was Beachbody On Demand.

Access Beachbody On Demand, HERE.

This one is so much fun because you get dozens of different workouts, at your fingertips. You can also do a 14-day trial for it!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, on-demand workouts have been a huge thing in our family. We love doing them not only because they’re fun, but they most definitely allow us to maximize the use of our time, especially with having two small children.

Highly recommend!

I don’t get paid to promote either Beachbody or Les Mills, but I do love these programs and companies, and always recommend them to people — especially if you need to meet a goal you’ve been working on!

Conclusion

I hope these ideas will help you to have a more exciting and productive morning. I love helping you reach your potential, no matter what the circumstances may be!
