3 ways to design web graphics

Have you ever wondered how people create those really awesome-looking Pinterest pins, or website graphics?

Have you been kind of in a rut when using Canva or Photoshop, and you’re looking for other ways to make stuff?

I found three different apps and programs you can use to create those incredible images we all love, and luckily, you don’t have to have a degree in web design to use these! (Bonus, they are, for the most part, reasonably priced!)

Plus, you can make MUCH more than just images with these. You can make a plethora of great content, and be on your way to distributing it to your clients!

  1. InDesign

First, let’s talk about Adobe InDesign.

Adobe InDesign is layout and page design software for print and digital media, according to the company’s website.

“You can create graphic designs with typography from the world’s top foundries and imagery from Adobe Stock,” the company says, and you can read more about the features, HERE.

Using InDesign, you can share content and feedback in PDF.

You can also manage production with Adobe Experience Manager.

InDesign allows you to create and publish books, digital magazines, eBooks, posters, interactive PDFs, and more!

I highly recommend InDesign if you are consistently creating content, such as your eBooks and workbooks.

The great thing about it is you can do a free 7-Day Trial before you commit. After that, it’s about $20 per month.

    Check out InDesign, HERE.

2. Pixlr

Pixlr is an online photo editor. Check it out, HERE.

Pixlr lets you edit photos right in your browser for free.

The company touts its AI-powered tools for “quick yet professional edits.”

According to the website, the Pixlr editor opens almost any image format such as PSD (Photoshop), PXD, JPEG, PNG (transparent), WebP, SVG and more.

There are also options for Advanced Pixlr E or Playful Pixlr X. (You can find that on the homepage.)

One really great thing about Pixlr that comes in handy for a lot of people is that you can easily remove backgrounds from your photos. That’s really useful when you’re designing your branding pages, or different templates for your sales pages.

You have access to a library of stickers, overlays, borders, icons and decorative texts to add to your photos, which can be very exciting! (Get rid of those boring, played out templates you’ve been using!)

Speaking of stock photos, in Pixlr, you can get instant access to over 10,000,000 stock content items with a Pixlr Professional subscription. That way, you can enjoy unlimited downloads of design assets on Pixlr. It’s $14.99/mo. Not bad!

3. Infogram

Infogram is another really useful way to create content.

Check out Infogram, HERE.

According to the company’s homepage, Infogram is an intuitive visualization tool that empowers people and teams to create beautiful content.

One great thing about Infogram is that you can view examples of work made by people using Infogram, right on the homepage. View the examples, HERE.

Infogram offers templates you can use, and also, you can set up a custom template for yourself or your team using your own colors, fonts, logo and more.

You can also create animations, as well as charts and graphs.

One thing that a lot of people like about Infogram is that you can collaborate with your team members in real-time. That can be really useful if you’re all working on the same project, and you don’t want to step on each other’s toes!

The pricing guide is pretty straight-forward. (View pricing guide HERE.)

Basic is free; the Pro plan is $19 per month; the Business plan is $67 per month; the Team plan is $149 per month; and the Enterprise plan is custom tailored to the company’s needs, so you would have to have a consultation to figure out the pricing for it.

Time to create!

If you give any of these programs a shot, let me know! I have used them all, and I can say that I love how they are so versatile for people like myself who create content such as journals, planners, eBooks, workbooks, and more.

Send me a message and let me know which one you like the most! TechSupport@HollyEcimovic.com.
